Wow, only four more weeks until court, I cant believe it and it STILL is going by fast which is even more crazy, I'm sure that is a God thing. Lee has been SO busy at work that he hasn’t even had time to think about it or get excited about it but he did last night, it was so nice to see. Last night we got a taste of what our trip will look like thanks so James and Sharon Leiske, they just returned from Ethiopia from their court date so had lots to tell us. Sharon made us a delicious meal and we sipped on Ethiopian coffee afterwards...mmm...so good. So we got to see lots of pictures and got to know the country a bit more and the terrible jet lag. So we feel a little more prepared now which feels good, we have an appt tomorrow to finish the last of our vaccanines
There is a glitch in our paperwork that needs prayer. In my last blog I talked about needing our birth and marriage certificates notarized, well now the Ethiopian gov wants them legalized and authenticated as well and of course this all takes time. We had to send another cheque priority in the mail this morning to Ontario, they then send our documents to their lawyer, one they are legalized the documents are sent to Ethiopia and they need to be there 10 days prior to our court date, so we are on a MAJOR time crunch. If this is not received on time we will not pass court the first time, we will still have to travel there but they would set another court date for us, but we wouldn’t have to attend the second court date thank goodness, way to expensive, have I lost you all yet? Anyways, please just pray that all the documents will be where they are supposed to be ON TIME or even sooner than expected, thank you all so much, it gives me such hope and peace that I KNOW people are praying.
